Looking to run a bracket with a structure that doesn't fit into a standard format like double elimination, single elimination, or round robin? You might want to give our Custom Schedule option a try! It allows you to manually create matches between any players or teams, in any order you'd like.

Here's how to select the Custom Schedule format for your bracket:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Bracket Setup

  3. Click the top of the phase you want to edit and change Pool Type to Custom Schedule

Next, you can start adding matches to your bracket! To do this, you'll want to:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Brackets in the left hand sidebar

  3. Click Add Match to create a custom match for the event. In the window that pops up, you'll be able to set the round, as well as the two entrants who will play against each other. All players that are placed in the bracket will appear in the drop down menu and can be selected!

To have more than one round, just adjust the round number in the window that pops up when creating a match. This will add the match to a different round.

If you need to delete a match for any reasons, you can:

  1. Hover over the match you'd like to remove and click Edit Match

  2. In the window that pops up, click Delete Match

  3. Confirm the deletion, and you'll be all set!

Once you've reported all of your matches, you can finalize the placements by clicking the blue Finalize Placements button in the upper right hand corner. A window will pop up showing the current standings. If you need to adjust the standings for any reason, you can click the up and down arrows next to the player names to change their placement.

Then, click the Finalize button at the bottom of the window to lock it in!

If you have any additional questions about using the Custom Schedule format, please contact us at support@start.gg or by using the blue Intercom chat bubble.
