You can customize your seeding on the Pools and Seeding page of your tournament settings. Please note, this works best on a desktop device!
Seeding your pools
Seed your pools by dragging and dropping players within or across pools.
Drop the player over Add to pool to add them to the pool, or drop them over a specific player to swap the positions of these two entrants.
The players you see above the green lines are projected to make it out of pools
You can also drag and drop players using the overall seed list on the right-hand side of the screen. Click on the red arrows to slide the side panel out to be full screen:
IMPORTANT: Remember to hit save in the upper right hand corner to save your changes! Additionally, there is no way to revert your seeding so please confirm any changes before you lock them in.
Click in the Display box to view other player information that might be helpful for seeding, including region, city/state, and rankings:
To the right of the Display box, you can toggle the seed numbers between overall seeding and individual pool seed.
New players that have been added to the phase but have not yet been seeded are placed at the bottom of the list. They have an indicator to prevent you from overlooking them when seeding!
If you see a lock icon next to your players, this means that you will not be able to adjust seeding. This usually appears once a bracket or pool has started, so if you need to make changes at that point you will need to reset the bracket.
You can do this by going to the Brackets page in your tournament settings and clicking Reset bracket in the upper right hand corner. This will clear any reported scores, so be sure to take note of those before resetting so you can re-report them after adjusting the seeding.
Seeding your final bracket
The best way to adjust seeding and positions of players in the final bracket is to use Edit Mode on the Brackets page. For more information, check out our article on rearranging brackets here. This will also need to be done before the bracket starts!
Scheduling your pools
Once you've set up your pools, you have the option to assign waves in order to help with scheduling the start times of your pools. For more information on how to set up waves, check out this article.
